THE COVERED PASSAGES OF PARIS –
Step back in time as you explore the enchanting, covered passages of Paris, where 19th-century Parisians would shop, dine, and socialize. By 1867 there were almost 200 of these shopping arcades.  Today only a few remain.  These architectural marvels are hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.

“There are experiences in life so exquisite, so wonderful, that words cannot adequately convey their grandeur.  This was our trip to Paris — as guided by Sebastien from SLL Paris.  From pre-travel inquiries to ascertain our interests, to collaboratively planning daily itineraries, and then to leading our excursions with unmatched class, aplomb, and savoir faire, Sebastien is the very best.  Every detail was considered and explained, and we felt immersed in both the history and vitality of France.  There was such joy throughout our time together, it’s as if we have a new member of our family.  We enthusiastically recommend SLL Paris to anyone who wants to really experience the City of Light, with a guide who is like a friend you’ve known your entire life! And we are looking forward to a future guided excursion to the Perigord!”  -J.B.
